In short: Liminal Zone does not require an account, shows no ads, contains no third-party analytics or tracking, and never sells your data. Voice chat and multiplayer data are transmitted in real time only — nothing is recorded or stored on our servers.

The App is designed to process as little data as possible. It does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any profile information.
Microphone audio (voice chat). The App uses your device's microphone to provide real-time voice chat with other players. Your voice is captured, encoded and transmitted through our game servers to the other players present in the same session. Voice audio is processed in real time only: it is never recorded, stored, analyzed, or shared with anyone other than the players in your session. A voice-activity filter ensures that silence is not transmitted at all. You can grant or deny the microphone permission at any time in your device settings; the App remains usable without it.
Multiplayer session data. While you play online, the App transmits ephemeral gameplay data — your avatar's position, movements and interactions — to our game servers, which relay it to the other players in your session. This data exists only for the duration of the session and is not persisted anywhere.
Technical connection data. Like any online application, connecting to a game server technically requires transmitting your IP address. It is used solely to establish and maintain the network connection and is not logged for any other purpose by us.
The App relies on a small number of infrastructure and platform providers to function:
We retain no personal data. Voice and gameplay data are ephemeral and disappear as soon as they have been relayed to the players in your session. When you quit the App, no data about you remains on our servers.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), in line with the age requirements of the Meta Horizon platform. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data. Because we do not store personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by design; for any request or question, contact fabien.boco@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as possible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If the App evolves in a way that changes how data is processed (for example new online features), this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised. The latest version will always be available at this address.
